On the 30th December we wrote fully
the matter to
you and

requesting for investigation and ever wrote to the Acting Registrar General informing him of our letter to you and asking them to suspend further actions until we heard from you - in reply to which he stated that the Land had been put up for Auction before our letter was received.
On the 15 December last we attended personally
on the Acting Registrar General and tendered $207 the rent of Lan No. 2 Mesterro Market for December which was refused and we immediately wrote confirming what had been done and claiming the lien.
He again wrote on the 5th December again refused. On the 22 January 1886 we tendered $20 the rent for January which was also refused and on the 1st February $20 for February which was also refused.
In reply
to our
letter of the 3rd February the Acting Registrar General informed
us by
letter that he had been instructed to make arrangements with the Fam Fong
in respect of this matter.
We later on saw our client and
informed him of the contents
of
the letter and requested him to call upon the Acting Registrar General, which he accordingly did and found he was informed by him that
